Aanandaa Permaculture Academy was founded by Manisha Lath Gupta with a vision to make permaculture knowledge accessible and help more people put it into practice. We believe that understanding how nature works can change the way we live, grow food, manage resources and build communities. Our purpose is to turn that understanding into the skills and confidence to take action.

The Academy is rooted in the experience of Aanandaa Permaculture Farm. Over 15 years, what began as barren land has grown into a thriving ecosystem of trees, food, water, wildlife and people. This ongoing journey of observation, experimentation and regeneration forms the foundation of our teaching. It allows us to share both the possibilities of permaculture and the practical lessons of bringing a design to life.

Our fully online courses offer structured learning for different stages of that journey. You may be curious about making changes at home, planning to develop a piece of land, or seeking to bring ecological thinking into your professional practice. From introductory courses to our flagship Permaculture Design Course, we help you build your understanding step by step and apply it to your own context.

The Academy brings together instructors with knowledge, design understanding and hands-on experience. As our learning community grows, our vision is to create a space where learners, practitioners and educators can exchange ideas, share experience and support one another in putting permaculture into practice.
